Some time ago, someone left me a comment saying that lavenders loved my garden. well...that isn't exactly true. At least one lavender doesn't love my garden, Spanish lavender ( Lavandula stoechas), my favorite. I tried several times with it but sooner or later they all end up dying. That puzzles me since it grows wild around here. So I found this one that looks like the wild form and decided to give it one last chance. I'll give up on Spanish lavender if this one doesn't survive.

I have tried the spanish lavender also. I saw the pic you had up--and knew right away it was going to smell great. I hope it works for you.

I just love Spanish Lavender. I can't grow it in my garden either. My daughter could grow it in her garden. Just the most beautiful bloom on it. Good luck with this go at growing it.
