They're lovely! Salads and sauces, stuffed tomatoes, and if you still have too many you can peel them, cooked them until reduced to half the quantity and bottle to use in the winter - it's a taste of summer stored for the cold months.
If you have room in your freezer, you can rinse them, pat dry, put in a bag and freeze whole. Later when you thaw them to use, the skins fall off so they "self blanch"....very easy!
O negro Kumato nunca ouvi falar. Eu infelizmente não me posso considerar "tomatista", embora me dê muito gozo cultivá-los e utilizá-los na comida não consigo comer um tomate crú! :-)
I'm just catching up after a UK trip and the internet going down for a week. Couldn't resist commenting on your tomato glut. Tomato frito is used as the basis for many dishes here and Mathilde next door showed me how.
Skin and de-seed the toms. Fry the mixture in olive oil, with garlic and put in sterile jars. Or you could pack into a ziplock bag and freeze.
Have just visited a friend in the hills. He made a sun-drying box with wood, mesh and shelves (to protect from the insects) and has dried all his tomatoes and figs this way. Ingenious and delicious.

chaiselongue, bottling them for winter usage sounds tempting. I might try and do that.
