Neve?/Snow?

As we approach the vegetable garden, it looks like the ground is covered with snow. But a different kind of snow, not the ice cold snow that comes with Winter. This one lets you know that Spring is about to start (you can smell it). It´s the first sign of life that the almond trees show since they entered their Summer resting period. From now on the weather is going to get warmer and everything will start to grow and bloom. I feel lucky to have a few of these trees in my land, it means I will always be able to witness Spring's arrival.

What a beautiful heraling of spring. Do you get to eat almonds from your trees or are they ornamental?

lisa at greenbow, yes, they are edible almonds. I'm just a bit too lazy to collect them all, so I just pick a few every now and then
