I get that on most of my cucurbits. I think it comes from them getting water on the leaves. If you hand water try to do it straight onto the ground and miss the leave, and milk spray (milk diluted and put on the leaves, maybe 1:10 with water, is an old remedy for dealing with it, they will probably still get it. This <A HREF="http://www.sgaonline.org.au/info_powderymildew.html" REL="nofollow">article</A> says to use full-cream milk. I never went so far as to try this remedy as I simply went ahead and cut off the diseased leaves as they eventually became old. Also, the oidium never affected the plants' ability to produce lots of zucchini and flowers for eating!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
