Em flor/ GBBD post

jardim 4769

I've been so busy lately that its been a long (far too long for my taste) time since my last post. Today was one of those days and it was night when I realised it was GBBD. Well...I have to confess I don't have any picture from the garden today, so I will have to cheat and use pictures from last week (they are all of plants blooming at the moment in my garden).

And now, for proper GBBD post visit May Dreams Gardens and see what's blooming around the globe. I will try to come back tomorow with a post with new pictures of my garden and its blooms.

Thanks for joining in for bloom day. Even your few pictures show quite a bit of bloom.

I had to use some photos from the end of last week because it was raining too hard over the weekend. I love the misty combination of the white-flowered Sedum/Hylotelphium & the silver-foliaged plant. Is that second Sedum 'Matrona'?

Thanks for the lovely picture of your garden - beautiful walls and roof tiles on the small building. We have similar roofs here and you hardly need flowers I think when you can see those tiles! Flowers are nice too though!

It's interesting to see the flowers you chose--much the same as what I have here! As Mr. M's daughter said, I used some photos from last week, too, as we had too much rain over the weekend. I love that garden walkway; it invites you to stop and enjoy the flowers!

You still have quite a bit of bloom in your garden so this is a good contribution to GBBD so don't worry. I sometimes cheat a bit too when I'm pressed for time or it's raining and use pics from the week before. It's not really cheating as long as the plants are still in flower on GBBD, is it? :-)

Happy GBBD!

Absolutely not cheating! If the plant is still in bloom, why not use your best recent photos of it? Your garden is always a treat, Gintoino, love your grasses and sedums. That must be Matrona, one of my very favorite workhorses for the garden.

I always love to see your garden overviews. Your garden is so much different than mine. I admire your xeric spaces and yet it all looks so lush.

Oh, I didn't know that was considered cheating LOL. Lovely blooms in a great Mediterranean setting. Beautiful!
